There are lots of things to be fixed with Google android like it does not spell check when you misspelled a word while searching for android applications in the android market. There are also complains about the androids accelerometer which only works when your phone is tilted left.

While Google android system group is working on to resolve the issues, a lot of better things have happened to Google Android. Let's all dig the latest of Google Android.

Google Android's "Voice Actions"
This is the very latest feature of Android the dubbed Voice Action.  So how does this feature works? This enable android user to speak to their android device to accomplish tasks. Command is not limited to sending text with the command send text to [contact] [message] but it includes; listen to [artist/song/album], call [business], call [contact], go to [website], note to self [note], navigate to [location/business name], directions to [location/business name], map of [location] and sending an email command is the same as sending an SMS send email to [contact] [message]. Android 2.2 is the only device that this feature is available.

Google Android Stagefright Media Framework
More phones have been available for Google android but there are still some phones like Pandora and Radio whose streaming audio quality is not quite up. This stresses support for new codecs while leaving older codecs and those who still use the streaming services. It has been assumed by Google that everyone should adapt the standard but this just created a plight for the phone manufacturers and Google. Both Google Android and the phone manufacturers are carrying the burden to update and resolve this issue. Now android developers are committing to create a program for this problem but it will take some time that this alder audio codecs to be pushed to phones running Froyo.

Motorola answers for DROID X sound issue
Sound notifications have been a problem for Droid X users especially for Motorola users. Because of actively watching over the Motorola support forum, they have decided on fixing the problems in there next update. The update is expected to be this coming September including with the exchange sound issues that is experienced by some users. It is not yet known if the update will be a Froyo update or not. Motorola Droid 2.2 will also be released together with the updates.

Watchdog Application
Multitasking is one thing android leads above other. This is the power to leave things running in the background while you move over to other tasks; system memory is the main issue with that. As processes are left running open RAM becomes an important commodity that can reach the state of short supply in an even shorter time. Many applications have the ability to kill applications no longer in use but this application can wreak havoc on user's device. Now here comes watchdog application that does similar thing which is killing application not in use but the difference is watchdog administer the back end of the OS. It looks for applications that are taking up a lot of CPU usage and kill the process. This is an advantage for battery life as well as RAM because it keeps your device running stable and kills off those rogue applications.
